How CloudQA Load Testing Works
CloudQA is made up of highly optimized components that perform specific QA tasks. At the heart of CloudQA is Bot. Bot is a automated workflow recorder and editor. It is capable of recording the most complex web application workflows and works seamlessly with modern client-side web technologies like Java scripts (Angular, React, Ember, etc.), Telerik controls, and more
The same recorded workflows power three ways of protecting your application:
- Regression and functional testing – the core CloudQA platform. Recorded workflows run as automated tests on every release, and each run also captures page performance metrics.
- Synthetic monitoring (TruMonitor) – a set of key user scenarios runs periodically against your live environment, so you see when performance degrades at certain times of day or when a critical flow breaks.
- Load testing – available as a service on request. CloudQA opens many virtual browsers and runs a mix of your scenarios within a short period, showing how your servers cope and where their breaking point is.
